Biography in the Practice of Criminal Law

Mark Collins Lawyer

Mark Collins

I am a graduate of Cornell University, and graduated with a Business Administration Degree in 1987. I then graduated with a two-year Master of Business Association Diploma from State University of New York at Binghamton. I then attended Capital Law School in Columbus, and graduated in 1992. From 1993 to 1996, I was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office. I handled all cases ranging from capital offenses to juvenile offenses. The experience gained from thousands of Grand Jury presentations coupled with numerous Jury Trials, provide invaluable experience for all of my clients.

In serving our legal community in Columbus, I have had the privilege and honor of serving on the Board of Governors of the Columbus Bar Association. I have also had the opportunity to teach various continuing learning education (CLE) classes, focusing on topics such as Trial Advocacy, Criminal Procedure, and Forensic Evidence. I have spoken at Federal Conferences and Seminars to colleagues, and have even had the opportunity to lecture future lawyers at Capital University and Ohio State University. I hope to continue “paying it forward” in serving our clients, clients’ families, and legal community.
